No I think you are wrong because when I went to trade it in the Toyota sales manager told me the offroad and PRO hold the best value and the sport is mostly just a "for looks" truck. :( I was given poor trade values so that is how I know.

Define poor trade value. How much are they offering you for your trade?

Trade it and consider your loss as a savings on the therapy that you seem to need.

They probably haven't visited this forum. Your chances of being disappointed with your truck go up about 4000% if you come here.

I wish I knew who bought my truck. I traded him in last september, but haven'y seen anyone on here yet with it. The dealer didn't even post it online so they either sold it immediately, or sold it to a worker there.

OP - if the truck is still on the dealer website I'm pretty sure it means it hasn't sold yet...unless I missed something following the provided link. :D

Also I had to chuckle a bit when I saw your post because I followed my trade in POS Ranger when I got my Tacoma. It wound up on a dumpy used car lot with none of the leaking head gasket problems fixed. One of the 20 pics showed the same leak it had for six months. It had a blown head gasket and about six other problems. One of the pics showed it didn't pass state inspection either. The only thing they did was slap some sporty tires on it. It confirmed my suspicion on these third tier crappy lots, that they sell crap cars without fixing them.

I followed it for a while but I'm sure it wound up at an auction. It was unexpected that I could track it down.

Nice new Raptor BTW. They are always an attention getter. However someone would have to pry my Taco from me at this point.

Very cool!! Depending on the type of extended warranty you have, you could get a refund. I got $2k back by cancelling and getting a refund.

It would be great for the buyer to find you. There's always the chance to get the original sticker and repair records that make getting a used car that has been cared for. Plus it would be neat as the new owner of your former truck to get some tips on offroading, etc...

My dad keeps a binder of anything related to a given car he sells. The buyers and dealers always view it as a bonus. I followed his example with my new Tacoma by keeping the original MSRP window sticker and all my paperwork in a well organized binder.

Whoever bought your truck gets some value added bonuses with your mods. It was a good looking Taco.
