I just bought KING 2.5 front extended travel coilover resi's and rear KING 2.5 remote resi shocks. I'd like to install them but don't have any lift equipment or a jack. I am driving to Portland Oregon and the coast of Portland all week, was wondering if anyone wanted to install this for me for free, in trade of my current Bilstein 5100'S all around?

    Thx-
    Zach

Could probably buy everything you need to install them for less than $200.

yup, Harbor Freight...$80 3 ton floor jack, $40 6 ton jack stands, $5 wheel chocks and $30 torque wrench...spend the rest on whatever wrenches/sockets you need or don't already have. Easy stuff. Can probably flip the Bilsteins and come out even on it. Then you have the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself, it's an easy bolt-in job.

what was the issue with your last setup that you did yourself?

Removing the UCA and bolts. Just tough for me you could say. It also doesn’t seem like anyone wants to buy 5100s

Ah yeah the UCAs are the one tricky part. But you already have those installed now, so you shouldn't have to deal with them again...unless you're replacing them?

UCAs don't have to come out to put in new coilovers

Why not just buy a jack and some jack stands from harbor freight for cheap? I mean if you can buy kings you can spend $50 on jack stands and use your bottle jack that came with the truck

UCA's dont need removed. The rears literally bolt in and out.

For the front coilovers, you remove the sway bar, brake line, castle nut on the upper ball joint, swivel out of the way, or remove dust cover on hub and castle retaining nut thing, then the nut, then push CV through and swivel, unbolt stock suspension, insert new coilover, bolt in then put it back together.

    It was something like that.

    Was super easy to do,

I’ll install for the bubble...but I get to be the first one to take it off-road and drive the wheels off it!

What do you mean the bubble? No driving the wheels off. Toyota already did that. They resintalled my wheels and didn’t tighten the driver side wheel, so started driving and wheel/tire came off while driving. F’d my rotor up, LCA, dust cover, and pads

Anyone wanna trade some labor for a new in box VHS belly dance instructional featuring veena and Neena? I need my tires rotated and I’d rather be doing something else. Will ship globally but you gotta rotate my tires in my driveway.

The bubble as in “0” as in zero dollars. Your tire falls off after dealer service? WTF! I’d be back in the dealership with blood in both eyes having a lengthy chat with the service manager my first question would be why did you provide workers not skilled in the task assigned to them?
