I think OR MT gets the same attention as Sport as far as off road capabilities so don’t feel bad

The Sport when you decided to forgo a useful feature like a locker and settle for a useless feature like a hood scoop. It's the compromise truck for guys that really wanted a Pro, but the wife wouldn't let them spend that much money. Thus the Sport it is figuring they'll change everything piecemeal until they have the Pro they desired and the Toyota wouldn't build. They think they're being sneaky about it and the wife doesn't notice, but will that be a consolation when't she's gone. These dudes typically can be found calling Dave Ramsey at 9AM on a Monday morning from the work carpark with their tummy full of Tums, a sweaty asshole and a racing mind. The wife knows about your financial infidelity and she's angry, happy wife happy life, well you're not going on that trip to Sandals with her this year and she's fuming mad.

About 9 months later he's on TW asking about 4Runners because the wife is giving birth to twins. So they great part out begins. He never got but a few likes on Instagram and they can't be redeemed for shit. His days of trying to relive what he wanted in his youth are over. He goes from skulls or some other bullshit i'm cool stickers on the back window to stick family. He pushed for a 4Runner but ended up with a Sequoia.

 

If you listen to TW, that rear locker is an absolute necessity. Despite the fact that the worst thing most people are going to encounter is a dicey looking speed bump at Home Depot.

I have a Sport, so I just drive around those. Don’t want to get stuck in front of all those people.

How much does a locker cost?

 

Who cares what others think. I bought my Sport because it was during COVID and I wanted a premium with 6MT. Even if I bought an OR I would be changing out the suspension anyways and likely going with an ARB air locker. Factory E locker is only 4LO anyways so sorta limited right off the bat. And I like the look of the painted bumper trim and fender flares. I think the black looks cheap. And they probably charge you more for it haha.

 

Cost is about the same as a scoop.
