Who has a B.O.B? (bug out bag)

I recently decided to purchase a BOB and thought this would be an informative thread for our fellow members. The kit I bought came of an internet sales site that shall remain nameless. I then added a few goodies of my own...i.e. holster, ammo for revolver, AR, and Rem 870. The items i added were 00 PDS sutures and needles, real gas mask, and a couple meal replacement bars. I do. Not much in it other than extra clothes, ammo, first aid and a few other things, but it's better than nothing.

 

Upcoming zombie apocalypse? Or is Obama the Antichrist and the Zionist military machine will oppress us to the breaking point and we'll all carry a bag o stuff and drive tacomas accross the US? Unless you're on the lam, I've never felt the need to be ready to leave it all behind and begin running...

When my finances improve I'll like to assemble one. I'd rather be prepared for anything than have something happen and not be ready.

I have some spare clothes, water, and basic tools in my truck. That's about as close as I am right now.

At the very least people should keep some long term storage food and water. And perhaps some propane camping gear. "Better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it."

Ok so all that stuff and you only have 3 maxi pads and 4 tampons? Ok here is how it goes..... The world is coming to an end and you load up the wife and DRAG your bag out and she says "You better dump all that crap and put some more tampons and maxipads in that bag." Don't forget the chocolate.
