Installing the bumper today but wondering where everyone mounted their control box?

On top of the winch. I trimmed the flimsy Toyota crossmember thing that holds the wires and braced the two halves upwards to the vertical member. I used a riveted sheet metal structure I fabbed up. Not really sure if it's necessary to do so, that piece of metal almost seemed like it was just there to give the fog light wires (?) a place to mount.

I moved mine off to the side of the winch. They give several mounting options. Passenger side direction.

I did the same. Mounted it with their supplied screws and cheesy brackets. My brackets broke and the solenoid is just sitting on top of the winch, one of these days I'll fix it.
