I just picked up an 02 stepside. I pick it up next week. I think it looks rad. It'll be my first truck.

Curious to know why people are switching them out...FishinTaco's post suggests rack and cap issues can anyone elaborate for someone completely new to pickups.

Pick up my 2003 Stepside in Alberta 1 year ago today.
Not much rust as they don't salt the roads there. It's fooking awsome to drive!

I have a silver '02 stepside TRD. It's awesome although I'd love it a lot more if I could find a canopy for it.

No pics at this time, although it looks like all the other silver ones posted already!

I love how all these trucks were color matched, and I think all the colors look awesome.

I have a chance to buy a shell for my black step-side, it's red, missing front window, side and rear windows are whole. It's mounted on a trailer that was once a truck bed,

should I get it for $200.00

200 aint bad if the condition is good. Hard caps are hard to comeby for the stepside. But i forget the price but soft toppers makes there type for stepsides too. If you were curious

I'm also thinking it's not bad, especially if I can unload the trailer for 100. :D
It's made of plexi or whatever material, not aluminum.

Think I'll pass on the shell, if there's someone in the SLC area who need's a step-side shell, send me a pm and I'll give you the address. It's in someone's front yard, chained to a tree.

Step-sides just arent as practical as a regular bed. They're narrower so it limits what you can haul. And of course topper and rack issues as well.

Sure it's a cute pickup, but like already said, bed is not user friendly.
Thinking I can take bed off and replace with regular, keep for
Future sale if I do sell.
