Here is mine, not much, but it's what I had left from my old Ranger Splash.

I didn't see the point in spending a wad of cash for another toolbox and having this laying around, not the best fit but works great, it was a temporary solution that has lasted for 2 yrs now and it's not going to be replaced any time soon............

It's fastened with 4 battery J hooks to OEM D-rings bolted to the bed, the spacers are painted treated wood for snug fit and no rub between the box and composite bed. The wood is fastened to the box, not the bed, the handles make it easier to remove and work as anchor points too.

There was one on mine at some point. I guess whoever had it didn't take care of it because the toolbox must have rusted out because there's the imprint of the diamond design rusted into the top of the bed.

I definitely want to get me a black toolchest for inside my double cabs bed.. I have these boxes at work made by Stack-On USA.. We call them cruise boxes, they are pretty well made but definitely not weather proof or water tight inside.. They are perfect size I think sho that they do not show when looking at the truck and I would sitll be able to have a bed bar.

They measure about H 13" x W 14" x L 32" anyone know of a company that makes a chest that is about the same size as these in black?

Also I am out on the ship right now can anyone verify how well that will fit in the bed of a 1st gen dcab? I would like to order me one before i get back. :D

Mine noisy? Between the bfgs and the flowmaster I can't hear a thing. I usually have a cover over the bed, but I really haven't noticed a difference.

Here's my wal-mart special with wheels and cup holders. It's easily removable and holds more than an over-the-rails type... plus it's cheap, only like 54 bucks. I have it locked with a cable to the side tie down location.
