i believe a lot of people share your same sentiments when it comes to any specific make or model firearm that has been used against them and their loved ones in a malicious way...

Plans are to swap the neutered gb and fsb with an AK74 setup. Also will have the rear tang riveted on (never came with one from factory as it had a thumbholr stock) and put on a Bulgarian Military red/brown milled poly stock with matching grip and some Bakelite handguards.

Has anyone gotten their hands on a Kalashnikov USA's KR103? I am looking at getting one if they ever come in stock.

 

I've heard good things of the KR103 but it's still an American made AK on very new tooling with 0 support from their roots. I really hope they do great and live up to the kalashnikov brand.

Thought about an Yugo M70 or a SAM7SF too? Thought about a parts kit and shipping it to a builder?

Fell asleep last night and didn't get to post my folder Friday and other junk.



My friend who is refinishing my wood sent me these pictures last night too. Rhineland Arms Vepr SVD-style stock set. This one will look killer!


Also some of the projects I have going on. The galil needs the GB swapped so I can have a bayolug, thw South African Rail setup from VNI put on and then a fresh coat of paint.

The SLR95 will get the rear tang attached, Bulgarian Salmon stock and grip, bakelite Handguards, AKM lower Handguard retainer and AK74 GB and FSB with an egg beater flash hider.




Still have plenty of more projects to go after that

This is going to be my first foray into the AK variant. I have zero idea what I am doing or what to expect.

 

New rifle I’ve got coming in. Arsenal SLR-101S with Russian red furniture.

 

Sorry I went back and read this again. The KR103 is a great rifle especially as a first AK. If you told me you were getting a VSKA aka very shitty kalash attempt then I’d be worried. Otherwise, have fun and if you have questions about it post them hear and check the tubes.

 

Are you making those mags with the windows on them?

 

No they’re made by a guy in the Ukraine and very hard to come by. You can’t buy them from him any more but are called Svetegor Defense Mags aka Svets. They’re a few hundred bucks but essentially it’s a PMAG of Europe

If you shoot with those mags the windows tend to fall out too

On IG I’m SleipnirTheHorse and follow a place called Gabber Gun Shop or something like that out of AZ. They can engrave it and Batle_Snake can cut them up. He's taking two 30round circle 10 waffles and tankering them for me. Might send to Kalashbakes to tint purple too

 

I'm more of an AK guy than AR. I owned a lot of AKs over the years, but my favorite ones are the Bulgarian Arsenals. I have a SAM7SFK SBR that is a sweet shooter.

 

of the ones ive owned, the norinco has been my favorite. I still havent owned a true Russian ak. But the saigas are ok
