I love Bulgarian AKs but I wouldn’t get this one. I would get a milled Arsenal SAM7 for a little bit more or a Zastava ZPAP for cheaper.

Plus when the SLR107R was first available it was $850. Why is there a >$600 price increase?

 

When the sam7's came out they were $1100 new and now they're $2000. Why the >$900 price increase.

Now let's talk about the price of this rifle. $1500 for the same rifle going for at least $2000 used on gun broker doesn't seem like a bad deal. Spend $350 on a truniom and triangle if you want but as is youre still paying for a bulgarian made stamped ak47 but the one caveat is the crappy paint

 

alright time to get into one, prices are starting to cool a bit

aoa has some wbp mini jacks under 900 if you want to get into a pistol....next month they have their batch of foxes that come in and those are g2g. a lot of people will steer you towards a zastava which arent bad for the money now but a few hundred more can get you some better alternatives

stick with akm patterned stuff so you can have access to the variety of mods

 

WASRs at precrazy times prices are a solid rifle . Later versions were all sorted out but the old stigma hung with them due to internet regurgitation, like anything

 

I picked up Abomination today, but in Vepr form, not Saiga (those who have not read Monster Hunter International won't know wtf I am talking about)

Roberts RTG kit with Ikon barrel, new handgaurd and South Africa rail system. The receivers are torch cut but cut very well so you can have it rewelded. Plan is to send it off to be rebuilt with the original Israeli receiver

If a guy wanted to remove his Magpul Zhukov stuff, where could he source a wood kit that has a LOP longer than a Warsaw stock? I like the stock, grip, and forend, but I don't have any risers so get Doo Doo cheek weld. And I worry I could snap the hinge, also can't fire it when folded

 

What type of AK? Yugo and AKM are way different
