Ah, okay. That I understand then.

I've already got a little tailgate cable plastic and some 040 paint transferred onto my barrel
Don't mag dump a 75rd drum and then lean the gun against your tailgate boys n girls!

I might be able to snag one this evening. Moved just this weekend and all my stuff is temporarily stored. Honestly not sure where my pew pews are in there lol

It definitely is LH threaded 14x1 or whatever the commie standard is, the detent pin is part of the front sight post, on top of the barrel.

Glad to see this thread more active, always super jealous of @Sleipnir ’s sexy guns. I’m an AK newb and only know how to ruin them. Turned this

Ok if you’re threaded and have a detent then you don’t really need to weld on the muzzle brake. It should have detent holes for you to time it properly I thought

The razr does have detent locations. But when tightened to the threads, they don't align. Something doesn't sit right with me having a slightly wobbling muzzle device.

Sounds like a hardware store trip for a washer!

Maybe I’m wrong but I’ve never thought it crucial to have the brake bottomed out on the threads . My brake is less than a 1/4 turn back from completely tightened down to catch the detent pin . Doesn’t worry me and hasn’t proved detrimental.
Especially after seeing how the entire rifle flexes during firing hahaha

Shouldnt have to worry about being tight against the block like @jmd025 mentioned. As long as its alinged with the detent then you're fine. Certain muzzle devices require to be torqued down but usually that with a suppressor.

Otherwise, line her up and take a picture :D

Even right after Sandy Hook the SLR-106FRs were going for 1,400. 1,800+? Yikes.

    Sigh

Sandy Hook was about 10 years ago now. If you mean to tell me in 10 years inflation and general market trends don't cause something to go up then I don't know what will. These constantly go for $2300+ on GB. Kvar knocking $500 off what others are already easily paying more for a used gun is cool in my book.

    Might be biased though....

I picked one up yesterday :anonymous:

For sale: SAM7SF lightly used. I've shot literally less than a mag through it and decided it's not for me. Looking for $1900 FTF in South south ATX or $1950 shipped. I accept PayPal FF or Zelle. Comes with original box and accessories.
