Good looking SAM7! I've had a couple SAM7 without that name. Had a 101s and a SA M7 Classic. Both essentially a SAM7 with some differences. If the story is real that's a doozy but likely come and mirrors to make you buy it

By the way, since you seem very knowledgeable. Do you recognize the red handguards? I've never seen 74 handguards with that type of bulge on the lower. If it helps I bought them as a set with a 74 style stock that doesn't have a cleaning kit trapdoor which I also thought was weird.

 

Are you sure they're not AKM handguards? Could also be a Soviet stocks or Combloc Customs set

 

I said 74 just because they didn't have the vent cuts on the lower handguard, either way I've never seen palmswells like that before. I bought them and the stock at a gun show from an old timer about 8 years ago that said he didn't remember where he got them. The finish on them is very thin and flaky and reminds me of the arsenal refinished Mosins.
