Oh yeah, sure that's gonna happen. I thank fuck that I stocked up on that shit way way before the shit hit the fan.

Don't you just miss the days that the only thing you had to worry about was Trump posting so stupid ass tweet that got a bunch of woke babies panties in a bunch?

I used to love how cheap 5.45 was. Aim Surplus always had great deals on it. Cost a lot just to go shooting now.

I been using a laser training bullet to at least get some practice in. I forgot I had it until I want to get my CPL renewed and realized how rusty I had become sitting around waiting for ammo to get cheaper. Not going to do me much good for rifle though.

Stopped using SGammo and TSusa awhile ago for ammo, but browsing ammo and checked them out again. These assholes have completely lost touch.

SG has been out of touch even when prices were normal. Target sports wasn’t bad, I used them a lot first half of 2020 because they had 5.45 and 7.62 at sub 30cpr.

    who do you use now?

I'm kind of jealous of all of the options now for SBR'ing a pistol. I believe I was one of the first to SBR a Draco pistol when I did mine in 2008 (submitted 01/12/08, approved 03/04/08; those were the days). MAC even used my tutorial on WarriorTalk when he converted his. Even Jim Fuller and Sonny Puzikas commented on how much they liked it. I had the same tutorial on the AK Forum, AK Files, etc. Pretty much everywhere aside from ARF.com (they were uber Fudds back then).

Picked this up a couple weeks ago, added the US palm grip and Alg trigger and ordered some stuff from jmac. Sent everything off for some minor changes and playing the waiting game now.

the Bulgy commercial mags with the steel inserts are good. I also have had good results with the AC Unity mags with the steel supports as well. And both of those are dirt cheap comparatively. This is referring to AK74 mags. Lot more options for AK47 mags, including surplus. 74 surplus mags are $$$

I prefer steel all the way, partially due to the fact they can be used as an impact weapon if the gun goes tits up or shit happens really close. I’d steer clear of US Palm magazines. I’ve had two fail catastrophically. I had them loaded up to go to the range and the baseplates separated from the body of the magazine.
