Buy cheap and stack deep homie: https://atlanticfirearms.com/ak47-magazine-steel-bulgarian?tuco

I do like /r/gundeals and /r/gunaccessories for sale, but it's platform agnostic which means probably only 10% of content on their is ak-specific products. Really the only thing people list on there end up being surplus furniture, some magazines, and the occasional deal for an ALG trigger.

The AK Files marketplace to me is better than /r/comblocmarket because that place fell victim to the COVID hype beast price scamming that caused bakelites to surge from like $35-$50 a magazine to damn near over $100 last year. AK Files is also a literal history museum in an online forum with multiple experts and guys who can identify an AK down to its' location, year, and manufacturer based off of rivet location lol

EDIT: Forgot to mention, listen to @Sleipnir on stuff like this, he's probably forgotten more about AK's than i will ever learn.

I haven't had any problems with them, I think they are a good deal for the price.
Only complaint would be they are a tad heavy...but not a deal breaker.

What finish are you going for? Boiled linseed oil and 0000 steel wool is a common first step for zpap walnut owners, myself included!

Tru Oil is really good. I use it for guitars, but it's meant for gun furniture.

Can confirm boil linseed and 0000 steel wool works wonders. Few coats over the course of 48 hours will make it last a about 6 months.
