I know there’s a lot of threads about deaver springs!!! But most of them are for stage one or stage two. I need real world reviews on anyone that has the expedition stage 3 leaf springs!!!!

i’ve contacted a couple companies but haven’t heard back on information on them. How much do they lift the rear? I’m looking at a 3inch lift so that would be great and having the 700-1000lbs weight capacity would be great!!!

So who has the stage 3. Would love to see pictures and how well it handles under a big load. Thank you

I have them. With a constant load of 500 lbs off the back, the Dakars couldn't hold up. Much happier with the Deavers:

I have the darkars now lol. I have the heavy duty pack but after about eight months they’re starting to sag especially with the load. is that pic of the stage three ones? How much a Lyft did they give you off the back non-loaded? I hope they give me a 3 inch lift

I have them but not installed yet :anonymous:

I was told about 3” lift, but as you approach 1000lb rear load it’ll be slightly less.

    I believe it is 3".

I have a heavy bitch though. Not sure what it would be with an unloaded, first gen access cab unloaded. I have a constant weight in the rear.

I scaled at 5960lbs today with half a tank of gas and driver (210lbs), bed was empty.

I have at least another 300-400lbs of shit I need to put in the bed (canopy, drawer system, fridge, recovery gear, camping gear, 15gal water tank, etc).

I had the Stage II's and upgraded to Stage III's. You should expect anywhere from 2"-3" lift, my truck is probably loaded up to about 1200lbs across the axles with 600-800 over the rear alone when geared up. It's been able to maintain it's lift and ride quality.

They were great, they actually handled my current configuration just fine, they just happened to lose the lift I desired because they were overloaded beyond their recommended capacity. If my truck wasn't such a fat pig I would have kept using them.

That’s so awesome, thank you so much for the review. I was thinking between the stage two and stage three. I honestly only do deliveries for work 2 to 3 times a week so I don’t have weight in the bed all the time but when I do, I could have up to 1100 pounds. So I’m thinking I should just go with the stage III to begin with, I just hope that when I don’t have much weight, the ride isn’t too harsh

Have you considered stage II's paired with some air bags?

I have but I do wheel the truck also and I’ve heard wheeling the truck and air bags aren’t a great combo lol. And the bags can tear up also. So would rather just springs lol.

how many leafs does your III pack have? Mine are 7+2....I saw somewhere someone else had 9+2 and 10+2 on the III’s. Makes me curious. I got them from Headstrong and they are labeled side specific, so I’m sure they are correct..

I had stage I's and II's... both had 9 leafs. Just depends on the material thickness... Deaver sometimes add more or less leafs to achieve the desired loading.

Edit: here are the stage II's with 9 leafs.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Love the Deaver stage 3s. Super solid and I didn’t want the lift. Another reason why I went with the BAMF over archive hangers.

Archive hangers now offer two mounting positions. “Stock” and the standard HH position. With “stock” it will actually give the deavers less lift from what Eric told me. I’m the first to get the new design, just need to find time to install them. Not sure which position I’m going to go with yet.
