Cool. Well once one of these bulbs kicks the can, I'll slap some LEDs in there.

Ok, I'm in the same situation, I need to replace the lights behind the instrument cluster, and want LEDs as well, how many total do I need to order for just the instrument cluster?

Thanks for the info man, so my next question is, I am wanting to do 4 different colors....I was looking at some wide angle 5 led bulbs, will they colors bleed over into the next section if I used those...they have a 220 degree angle. I'm new to all of this, so I wanna make sure I get the right ones the first time...lol

Get the 360 degree ones, as for color bleeding over I'm not sure but I doubt it

I bet they will have color bleed. My far left bulb went out,why I went LEDs, so I lost my temp gauge and half of my tach.

bulbs are 194 for the cluster (4 of them), this is what I got:

    https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...led-bulb-5-led-wide-angle-wedge-base/199/873/

for 01-04 HVAC bulbs they are NEO4 (choose the 4mm, need 3 of them and you have to pull the back of the HVAC off to change):

    https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...s/neox-led-bulb-instrument-panel-led/220/985/

and for the shifter (auto) bulb it's a 74 type (other things use this too but are orange shaded from behind so YMMV:

just remember the hvac is orange tinted on the cover, not the bulbs. so green may be scewed

the cluster bulbs have the orange condoms on them

Yeah i did the 220 degree ones from superbrightleds cause they were only like $2 but there is the slightest dark spots between bulbs, better than no light tho i guess

Ok, so my instrument cluster is white faced, with orange backlight....my Tacoma is a TSS model, I'm only gonna do the instrument cluster, like mentioned in a previous post, mine is also out on the left side...temp and half of the Tach. So if I get blue or green, will it show like Bellassaiw10's?

Pretty simple make sure to plug it in and check them before putting it back on LEDs have to be put in a certain way so if they're out just flip them.

I thought the TSS was a 2wd (non-prerunner) package with aluminum wheels? never heard of it on the Pre/4wd models
