    If I remember correctly they are quite expensive - I think I got it at Toyota parts (before I went to LED).

    I lied :smack:. My memory does not serve me as good as I thought. A/C switch has NEO3 bulb in it. I just found an old A/C switch and was surprised to see that bulb in it. I guess I replaced it with LED too (I know I replaced all bulbs except cluster warning lights) - that was 5 years ago and seems like eternity.

    On the other hand I'm quite sure (if my memory serves me good on this one) the hazard switch also has NEO3.

    So all you had to do was replace the bulbs? No red lenses back there?

    Jezz why don't you ask a little more precise question? They will probably work meaning when applied power, they will emit some light. Probably.

    As instrument cluster I think these T10 will suck as they project light in one direction only so there will be not uniform backlighting. If you like blue, for instrument cluster much better would be with

    Hi I’m new to the Tacoma forum, just bought a 2000 Tacoma, the climate control light is not working. I am wanting some LED but I’m not sure which size to get. I would like to do the dashboard as well while I’m at it. I would truly appreciate some info on this. I love my .

    The climate control lights are a little tricky if you want LEDs . If you are not changing the color I would recommend buying the stock part .

    I am trying to change all of my lights colors to blue. I have bought two different types of LED for the climate control and while they appear to be the same style of light and fit, the measurements are a little off and they do not fit properly .

    I will post pictures of my project once I have all the parts necessary . My project is a little different because I have a 2002 which has an amber backing to the climate control light cover . I will be taking the climate control light cover off of a 2001 forerunner at a junkyard to get the right color background (White)


    These work great for the dashboard as recommended above

    Ok after reading the whole entire forum lol, I need 4 194 for cluster and 2 74 for the climate control is this correct?? Someone please confirm I decided to go with LED. I have 2000 Tacoma. Lol sorry for the multiple questions.

    Yes on Cluster (4 times 194)
    Not sure about Climate Control. Depending on which one you have. The old style (levers moving side to side) it is 74. The new style (rotating knobs) is probably Neo4. I found nice video on cluster/climate control bulb replacement (Climate is the new style)

    I tried replacing my lights for the climate cluster but the piece is not the same as the one in the video. Mine is a 2000 and I notice there is something attached to back besides the two clips. I couldn’t remove it, it’s not as easy as it what shown in the video. Has anyone changed there on a 2000. The layout is a little different.

    Are you having trouble getting them to lock into place?
    I had to clamp down on the leads on the bulb with a needle nose pliers to get them to lock into place.

    You may have to trim a paper thin piece of plastic off of the locking mechanism as well .
