I was replacing my 2010 Tacoma running light bulb when I didint snap the bulb into the socket good enough.
So I turned the bulb into place and a momenmt later the bulb dropped out and down inside the cavity of the lens. 1st I said F*** and then I had to figure how to get this bulb out without removing the headlamp.

Here is the trick I used---Take a 6 inch piece of duck tape and fold it over to about a 1/4 inch size. Stick the tape thru the small hole and use your finger to stick tape on the dropped bulb and SLOWLY pull out, it works.
I didint know you had to press very hard to get the bulb to snap into the socket..MacGyver sytle......

    I meant compartment
