Who has traveled the most miles with trailer attached? What are your truck and trailer specs and weights and what are your usual towing speed and RPMs. Any issues with sustained high RPM cruise for thousands of miles towing?

Cool, how many miles have you been towed this far. How do you feel driving?

Only gone 1345 miles with trailer. I was white knuckled the first time...lol. But now, totally used to it and know how to drive with a trailer now. In actuality, I barely know it is back there. I haven't had any problem with wind yet. Big trucks passing don't bother me at all. And going over Bridges with moderate winds haven't bothered me either. I really think that the E rated tires and 5100 shocks help a lot

I couldn't even begin to guess how many miles I've towed a trailer. I've been driving 50 years, have towed motorcycles, 3 different boats, horses, tractors, cars, furniture, wood, and telescopes. The tow vehicles have been a Dodge D50, a Dodge Dakota, GMC half-ton, Ford Explorer, a Chevy 4x4 extended cab dually, a GMC 4x4 crew cab dually, and my present DCSB 4x4 Taco. The longest single towing trip was from NC to Orlando, Fl and back, then to Dayton Ohio and back, that was the crew dually pulling a 23 foot gooseneck horse trailer. Second longest was pulling a 5x8 ft cargo trailer with the Taco from NC to Miami and back full of furniture, and the same rig with $20K worth of delicate telescopes from NC to Green Bank WV and back. When I was a boat owner, it seemed like every weekend I was dragging a boat somewhere, sometimes half a day to get to the lake. Doing landscape work and pulling 4500 pounds of tractor is maybe 8-10 trips in a month.

What is your average gear and speed. What are your sustained highway RPMS when towing your trailer?

Amazing, those are some good miles. What rpms do you turn usually. I have a 05 Tundra with the 4.0 and that thing turns 2600rpms in 6th gear at 65mph, it has 330,000miles too.
