Staying stock as likely the vast majority of owners are.

I was interested in brighter interior LED's but then I saw some of the threads here reporting burned out overhead console circuit boards and I was scared away. So left them stock for now. Misplaced worry maybe?

Stock interior lights are plenty bright for me. There's never been an occasion when I thought to myself "Geez. I wish these lights in here were brighter"

On top of that, I don't like opening the doors when we pull up at our hunting spots and revealing the entire contents of my cab to the other public land hunters waiting to follow me into the spot I spent all Summer scouting so they can crash in there an hour after first-light. :)

    Who hasn't swapped to LED's? That's easy...

Stock. I hate bright white. Plus, I can count the number of times on one finger I have needed lights on in my truck.

Stock for now as they are useful. Seems some LED swaps are prone to burning out. Would like to add bed light however.

Stock and no plans to go LED, pictures of blinding white light don't make me want to go that route.
I'm one of those drivers who covers up shifter lights and dials down the instrument panel levels.
Kids know how to turn on the roof lamp themselves.

I was not going to mess around with the interior lights but was not happy how dim they were to see things. Back in 2018, I was offered some drop LEDs for the dome and map lights. They worked a bit too well and were so bright that I started leaving the interior lights off unless I really needed them. I have good night vision, so there was no issues with typical situations. The stock bulbs barely added anything over no light at all. Haha!

When @MESO launched the original red dome and map lights, I really wanted them but was vetoed by my fam. They say that red lights bother them. Finally, the dual color option was offered and I jumped on them. They are perfect for all of us and are usually in the red setting for me.

Stock here. I have them set to off, only using them when absolutely necessary. I would be interested in the dual color lights though.

Stock and no plans to switch out. I’ve had my truck since 2016 and I bet I’ve used the lighting less than 50 times. When I did it worked fine as well.

Two years into the truck and never once have I thought, “I need brighter lights in here.” But if I ever do, I know where to find some.

I'm considering switching back to stock bulbs from the LEDs. When I actuate the lumbar support and let my finger off the switch, the map lights get a surge and flicker. Weird and somewhat unsettling.

I'm on stock lights. I generally prefer the warmer color spectrum, and I really prefer not doing work/spending money. If I could improve my lighting, I'd upgrade to LED headlights, then bed lights, then I'd like a red interior light that runs while you are driving so you can see things but not screw up your night vision. My family had a saab that had that, and it was nice.

In the 2 years since I have owned my truck I don’t think I have ever gotten in it when it is dark to notice the lights. I think I am at 5k miles now. :anonymous:

I replaced my interior map lights and dome light with LEDs. Just switched bulbs. I used 5K, makes a Hugh difference and cost only about $35. I have had no problems with them at all. I also replaced the backup lights with LEDs (but not the license plate lights as I wanted to improve my backing up sight).

I changed to LEDs. I did notice that my map lights, whenever I turn one side on you can see a slight flash from the other map light as if it sparks on then off quickly
