Does anyone with a 2012 have the Heavy Duty all-weather flooring (it's a carpet delete option). It's much like the flooring in the FJ.

Just curious, no real question or issue.

Yeah, mine came with 'em. Nice mats. Not sure I would pay $100 for them like the sticker claims the option is worth but since I had a dealer search out the truck, they didn't charge me for them.

All weather flooring is not mats, it's the entire floor area (no carpet). I have the new flooring, I jump in and out of mud every day and this new flooring in a no brainer for me I love it.

If I bought a new truck it would be one of the few options I would want.

Any pictures of this? I saw it was an option but figured it would not look good. Of course I put weathertechs over my carpet anyway so I guess it did not matter.

Seems like all trucks used to have thick rubber flooring back in the 70's & 80's. I remember using a water hose to clean out a few trucks after they had been mudding.

Another member emailed pics of his Access Cab. I ordered a '12 AC with the option and was wanting to see it before my truck arrives, he was nice enough to send this over to me, Ill share it with you.

I am posting what he sent me from his email. Don't bitch and moan about the pics, he got me exactly what I wanted and I'm sharing with you.

"...The rubber matting covers everything that would otherwise be that wirey carpet stuff on any other car. its just like the carpet in that it moves when you press on it, its not glued or bonded to the floor, its simply molded and attached....which probably makes it a lot easier to replace if damaged. the entire floor all the way to under the side i molding ny the doors is covered in it and from what i can tell its one piece. The only breaks i see are around the backseat bracket for the backrest where the back folds down, probably to allow for the constant movement that would eventually break it anyway, and its so high up that if you fill your truck with that much water and mud, the flooring is the least of your problems anymore."

That looks pretty nice. Is it adhered well to the floor of the truck?

    looks like an FJ.

It has foam padding on the bottom......... right?

Cause that shit smells just as bad as our carpets when it gets wet if it has the foam.

I wish they would just line the floor with a rubberized coating but people would bitch about noise I guess.

When I get my truck in April I can let you know. As my post said, I don't own that truck and someone else sent me the pics. I ordered my truck with the option and asked a member to see pics of his. Best I can do at answering your questions.

I imagine the foam is underneath the flooring the description he gave and I posted. But I bet it's a hell of a lot harder to get that padding wet with a rubber barrier rather than permeable carpet on top.

Thanks for the pics Jordan, and now it looks like I gotta bug my local Toyota store parts manager to sort out how much one is for a double cab. Like Iowa, I remember how easy cleanup is in trucks with this type of flooring and immediately looked to the aftermarket world for it but always came up empty handed.

Not a problem. The real thanks goes to the guy who sent them to me after the request. Can't remember his User Name though.

When my truck shows up I'll post details about the flooring, until then y'all will have to wait as anxiously as I am.
