I took advantage of a Black Friday sale and bought the Ring with the Chime and they also threw in the Echo 5. I’ve loved it so far but I keep having these three little lights showing up. It looks like a spider web with dew drops on them. I’ve went out there with a rake and tried knocking it down but there’s nothing there. It’s happened three different x’s on different days already. It floats up down and all around. Anyone else ever experience this? Wondering if it’s a glitch?

I have a ring and the only 3 issues I have are replacing the battery so much and it doesn’t always pick everything up and I wish the recorded clip was more then 30 secs

From your description, sounds like a spider web. I've seen them on my security cameras.

Haven't got a door bell yet. But I'm looking at the unit from Samsung. The Samsung works with existing door chime and wiring. And doesn't need a contract.

That’s what I thought but it’s the same three little lights. They are spread apart the exact same way,two at the bottom are closer than the top one. It’s set it off three different nights within a month. I called them and I’m going to see if it’s something with the camera itself.

Have you gone out with your phone in hand and watched yourself and see if they go away as you walk towards them or if you walk thru them and nothing is there. I know on my cc cameras I see all kinds of stuff and I just go hmmm!

Hahaha. Some weird stuff has happened since I bought it, I first noticed there was some bones in the gravel of the driveway. Neighbor told me the boyfriend of the girl who lived there was a butcher. Why he would put bones in the gravel of the driveway is beyond me. Kinda weird but ok. Then I’m looking outside of my bedroom window and notice the tree facing my window had a pentagram spray painted on it. Freaky so I carved off the bark with an axe, being that it looked old I chalked it up as A kid playing a prank, It’s deep in the woods in Ashe county NC. I worked late into the night sanding/priming and painting one night and cooked up a piece of salmon that I had in the freezer that didn’t taste right so I stepped out onto my back porch to throw it into the woods and I could hear something (or someone ) walking through the woods, what sounded like about 25-30 yds away. I yelled out a quick “Hey!” To scare away a deer and the sound of leaves sounded like someone just calmly walking through the woods. I ran in my house and grabbed a flashlight and the woods on my property is thick and I only lit up the trees, bushes and leaves. Not something I wanted to experience at 11:30 at night!

I’m still chalking it up as a reasonable explanation but I can’t say that it doesn’t freak me out every now and again

I have. The first time it went off, I was about to go to bed. I figured a cat and when I pulled it up on my phone I figured “spider web” so I went out there with a broom t knock it down. It was cold that night and spiders don’t make webs in the fall/winter. I went out there and it was nothing. I had brooms, rakes, flashlights. It just kept coming back. I eventually shut it off. The next two times it went off, I was at work in Louisiana on my ship. It just went off last night three times. My Electrician on the boat is a big techy and he can’t figure it out. I called Ring and have to be home to trouble shoot it.

Call ring. I have used their customer service more than any other that I can think of. If the equipment is faulty they will replace it.

So here’s a idea. Next time they show up. Turn the camera on you phone on and see if they show up on your phone. Or if they’re only visible with the infrared reflecting off of them. Need to go magyver in this.

I get an alert that motion has been detected, this guy drove down my driveway took a picture of my house and then back away. I sent a video to two of my neighbors one saw him drive-by and then drive by two minutes later so his intention was to take a picture of my house?
