Yes. I only paid on it for 4 months before saying "screw it" and mailed in a hefty check.

Having the title in my hands definitely feels good. Now I feel I have permission to start adding mods to it and having real fun with the truck.

Yes & No. I didn't finance through the dealer, but used my home equity line. Will pay that off after my next real estate closing.

Just bought mine two weeks ago and I only have 6500 left on it. I have my old F-150 for sale, a snow machine and an R6. I should be able to have it paid off by the end of the year.

Well, ive had it for 8 days now, so im just gettin started with paying it off really. I put 20% down on it for 4 years, had 0 debt of any kind before, and a 13 year old car with a new problem each week it seemed, so I was in the necessity camp. I plan to pay for 2-3 years until ive saved up the balance then pay it all off and keep it for the rest of the decade and then some.

Worth every penny so far tho. =D

    I've lost count....
Just paid it off today. :D

I will be buying a house within the next few months and didn't feel like having a truck payment anymore. It would have been paid off next Spring if I just stuck with the standard loan payment.

I must say after reading this thread, I found it hard to keep the "hater" in me in check. But i digress, I can honestly say I am happy for all of you that have worked hard for your truck or those who are lucky enough to have parents to pay for them. I am not as wealthy yet but I am working on it. I think Im building a pretty solid resume; working on my second degree and have 6 years of active duty military experience. End rant.

Paid mine off a month ago. Put down 12k and paid extra monthly, and then even more on the last two payments to get it over with. Waiting on the title to arrive.
