Nope. Had 10K sitting around, but needed to get out of our apartment before we killed the neighbors so that went for down payment, closing costs, etc. Hell, we had to drop $1500-$2000 on plumbing costs before we could move in just so it would pass inspection. Normally I would've walked on the deal, but we were paying half what the house was appraised at just a few years ago. We know we'll be able to sell it for profit once we get everything fixed up and all the remodeling done. Which, again, leads back to why the truck isn't paid off yet! :( New windows this summer so there went the Stimulus package, new doors hopefully before winter too, and a new roof in another year or two (if it lasts that long).

I'd love to refinance for a rate lower than 11.65, but there's a bunch of crap preventing that. (Pissing me off even more is this is my second vehicle through Toyota Financial, and apparently this is how they treat repeat customers: double the interest rate.) One of which I'll be sending papers to a court to reverse, and I have a feeling that collection agency is gonna be PISSED when they have to start over again. But I don't care. They should've done their job the right way 4 years ago and this would've been settled back then.

The Taco is paid off! Now I'm just making monthly payments for my gas.
What used to take me $17.00, now takes me $60.00 to fill up. :(

I paid for my weapons, houses and farms in cash. What`s a Taco? It just gets beats up in farm work.
    The weapons are worth more.

Yes and no, I bought the truck with a home equity loan, so I have the title in hand, but I must still pay the loan off... now that I think about it... no. :frusty:

10 months to go. I could have fake some injuries from the accident to help paid off the truck. People, honesty does not pay...but I would do the damn thing again.

    Not going to brag.
    hahahahaha . . .

What's a better feeling, having a truck paid off or not having paid a cent for the truck?
Zero money down. I send in my first payment in on Monday. Then repeat monthly.

Paid mine off in 9 months on a 3yr loan, lol. I hate payments, and well, my fiance and I did some money shifting around, and paid mine off. Now I just make her $400/month payments on her car until she finishes Pharmacy school. So, in reality my payment went down about $100/month:)

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
Paid off 10 years ago. I had a 5 year payment plan. The truck was only 12k back then and I got $3,000 for my old car, so my payments were $110 a month! My Dad paid off the last year of it because he drive it while I was in college and put 75,000 miles on it!
