    Toyota gave me $14,105 for my 1999 TRD (rusted recall or what ever hey called it) and 1K if I got a new one, end of year in 08 3k toyota off & 2700 off from dealer. List $28885.00 + tax = $30906.00. Gave them a check for I think $11,076.00. Still miss my 99 :rolleyes:

    I waited a few years longer than I wanted to make my purchase to ensure that I would not have to finance my new truck. Well ok I put as much on a credit card as they would allow to get the airline miles but that was paid off before the bill came. Dealers don't seem to like it much when you just walk in and cut them a check especially when the truck is already $500 under invoice.

    I hate having a car payment now. I've never had one before. Luckly my dad was able to pay cash for the tacoma, and I am financing the buy through him. No Interest!
