 My purchase is just a week old today, and I wrote a check for the whole thing. Now since I am not as rich as I would like to be :D , I purchased a base SR-5 model, but it is all mine. It will be my first and last time being able to say that I do not want to finance my purchase.

Mine 2009 will be 3 years old in May. Paid it off in January with 11,000 miles on it. Now I'm working on my wife's 2010 Highlander.

I've been saving up since 2008 to buy a Tacoma. Was going to get used but figured I'd get a new one instead. Ended up financing 5k just to cover Tax, Title, Fee's, and got that paid off in 3 months. I have the Title to my truck and it feels awesome. I've never been a fan of debit and saving is super easy to do.

Wrote a check for my HD in 09 and my Tacoma in 12, I feel grateful I'm able to do that. It wasn't always that way.

Walked in and plunked down cash for my brand new 09 Taco. Folks will DEAL when you come in with cash! Drove home with a smile that still hasn't gone away. Saved for another year and paid cash for my supercharger. Like Retired FF said "it wasn't always this way".
    Dave Ramsey FTW!!!!!!
