My dad bought mine originally for himself to commute to work. Now that he has a new work truck, he passed it down to me. I intend on paying him for the truck, but right now I'm a broke college student. So that'll have to wait

I had my 06 paid off. And when I got my 11 a month ago a wrote them a check on top of my trade in. I have saved a lot of money in interest payments.

Paid cash. It's strange how my credit sucks but I can pay cash for a car. Still haven't figured that one out. And I owe money to no one.

Never have had a vehicle paid off, and never will.

I'm 60, and like my toys. I think the longest I've ever kept one vehicle since my very first one (1967 Mustang GT 390...yow....what I wouldn't give...) is just over two years.

I get the new car/truck bug around that time. Sure, I lose a bit occasionally, but life is too short. Screw it. Do what makes you happy.

Although....I may...just "may"...keep this Taco until I run it into the ground. Or I am. Whichever occurs first. Preferably the Taco. :D
