I put $8200 down and financed $15000 for a few years. Payment is under $300 and it will allow me to put some extra here and there. Look forward to enjoying the truck for years to come.

Just paid off an 08 Toyoata Rav 4. Currently making payments on the Tacoma. I'm debating paying it off vs. socking the money in a Roth IRA or holding the cash. Financed as a second mrtgage at 4.69%. With tax deducability this is like paying 3.5%. I've never had a payment for more than 2.5 yrs.

Mines 100% free and clear, but then again, I'm older than most on this post and grew up with a ton of nothing. Every dollar was earned, no allowance, no free ride. My parents wouldt have liked to do more, but we just didn't have it to spare. I learned quick to value my hard earned dollars early on.

We all should thank guys like these for letting us make those dollars...

    AND

My hats off to both of you... and the others who made the same choice.

truck was paid for in full the day I took it home. but... I bought a 96 with 168k with cash, so I had it way easier than a lot of the $30k TRD taco drivers.

After 30 months I just made my last payment. It helped that my payments were only $169/month it let me double/triple up on them at times. Not bad for only being 23 I think. Now it's time to think about what I'm going to mod next!

How long does it take before you get title?

Wish mine was paid off. I have like 55 payments left according my last summary. Though the wife and I will only have my student loans and the mortgage in 5 years.

Mine is paid off. Took it out of my 401K I need a few years of trouble free transportation without payments. I have to live for now and I have 15 years left to retirement.

BLU Logic, Ipod interface, storage lock box for existing storage area, debadged, new color grill, wet okole seat covers, coming a Kenwood DNX6140 radio head unit, and a Protecta bed mat
Paid cash as I am retired and though not rich pulled money out of 401. I never had a new vehicle as I always got my wife's hand me down. The last one was a 1995 Saturn and windows did not operate, took like 6 seconds to go into reverse, paint peeling and overhead liner peeling. So now I am the proud owner of a 2009 Tacoma prerunner sr5 that I debadged and the other mods are BLULogic and Ipod interface. Waiting for Wet Okolones seat covers and color matching Grille.

    Not bad for a 60 year old:humble:
