Who has their truck Paid off?

Bought my truck wrecked at auction. I've got about 8.5k in it now that it's completed. That's just a little more than half what it would have cost me to buy one otherwise. This is the only way it became do-able. No loan. I'm working the last of the bugs out of it now. I didn't realize Toyota's have a lean to the left. It's driving me nuts. My new firestone airbags arrived last week only with the wrong air valve fittings so I'm still waiting to install.

 

I can't wait to have this thing paid off and use that "extra" money to mod it...if I can hold off until then.

 

my lease is up at the end of next month so i have to do a small loan to pay off the remainder but shouldnt take too long to pay that off. my shop has payed for the lease since 08 as my company truck

so 14k to go. buying my dads 07 tundra next year as a DD so need to get this thing paid off asap.

my old taco was paid for, but then i totaled it. so now i have a payment on a new taco...its cool i guess haha

 

I'm surprised so many don't have their trucks paid off. The only reason I don't own a Tacoma is because I cannot afford the full sticker value at this time. I will purchase one when I can buy it out right.

I do, paid cash up front.

 

Mine's has been paid off since 10/17/2013. Now I can take the money I was making on payments and put it towards things that really matter, like lift kits, plate bumpers, and winches.

 

I was waiting to contribute to this thread for a long time and then I forgot. Truck was paid off in August.

 

i bought my 2013 brand new in august... should be paid off by december thank god

 

$4K left...not bad for 3 years. Hoping by May next year or sooner.

 

I've got about 4500 left. By New Years is my goal. Then that freed up money applied to principal on wife's Subaru. That has 7000 which should go fast too. Can't wait until both are ours.

 

Paid it off within a few months! Bought it used and sold my 95 taco for a good price.

Bought it used a year ago and had a sick down payment from selling a Honda.
