laid off after 30 yrs on the job, and outta work six months last year... back working now (lucky me) so I can't bitch about the payments

 

Got about $24K more to go, haha, trying to pay it off in 4-4.5 years.

 

Paid for mine in cash when I purchased it less than 2 weeks ago........ 2007 Tacoma Reg Cab 4 Banger.............

Borrowed 15k in 2005 as an 18 year old. parents bought me a base v-6 Camaro at 16, sold it and haven't looked back.

Paid off in November 08! Put something like 75% down payment helped

 

Traded in a ford ranger edge. We had to special order mine back in April 2005. Paid cash under invoice. It felt great for a few months when I could count the number of 2ndgen tacos on one hand.

 

Bought on the phone and picked up for cash 2 hours later.

 

I hate all 197 of you paid off-ers. those paying - you're still cool.

 

I could only wish it was paid off.

Oh yeh been paid off for 2 months now, not bad for 22 years old, then again I technically been saving up for this truck since I was 14!

 

bought truck on ebay for 15500 cash, part of severance package. 2006 TRDoffroad 6SPD 4x4 68000 miles, was looking for a while so I think its a great price

 

try paying 53k after everything. Talk to me then about being able to pay it off. I put ten grand down, traded in my car they gave me 4500 for, so saved some of the taxed there, and still five seventy a month for five years.

My 06 got paid off when I totaled it. Does this count? Have only owned my 09 now for 3 months now.

 

Mine is paid for, was from the get-go. I sold a paid-off Jeep Wrangler that I had for $11K, then dredged up an additional $8K and bought the relatively inexpensive 4wd regular-cab. It was fun to go into the dealership and write a check.
