Who has their truck Paid off?

Paid it off the day I bought it...
Unless they offer 0%, I don't finance

 

Mine is, but I was bored with it so I decided to lift it so I would like it again and now I have this F'NG drive line vibe that I CANT GET RID OF!!!!!!!!

 

My prerunner was paid off.... now I have payments again for the new 4x4. Loan isn't too big though.
and at the same time!

 

well unfortunately mine isnt paid off.. got it a year ago.. if i continue to pay only the minimum... 40 months left.. but i have 2 car payments, life, and wife is in school..so for now thats all i can do haha.. and as a paramedic im not bringing in bank... i do throw an extra 150-200 every few months onto it so i can maybe be done sooner..

 

I decided to pay off my 2012 and just got the pink slip in the mail. Winning!

 

$7000 left on my 2008....sooooo close!!! should be done in less than a year! so excited!

 

How long did it take for you to get it after your last payment?

I bought mine used, so it's paid off. Still can't believe what a deal I got- 9 months later.

For the curious- 2006, access cab with the 2.7L, picked it up with a toolbox and 236,000 miles for $3600

Still going strong at 256k now

 

Paid cash!!!!!! Free and clear!

 

5 1/2 more payments and I'm done!!

I paid for my Tacoma with a personal check. I tried to pay for it with a credit card but the dealer didn't like that. Think of the bonus points I'd have gotten.

 

I'm the sole owner since the day I drove it off the lot.

 

I never pay mine off, why?

1. They will give you less when you trade it in because they know you have loads of equity.
2. I'm less likely to spend more money on mods.
3. I have a reason to go to work every morning.
4. Less likely to trade it in.
5. If it disappears it's not my money I'm loosing.
6. Your more likely to take care of it since you still owe on it.
I could go on but I have to go make a payment.

Still owe 18k. Not to bad. Can't wait to not have a payment on my truck. I'm sure I'll find something else to go make a payment on though.

 

Nothing drives better than a paid off vehicle!

 

My bank pulled the payment from my other bank on 4/28 and I got the pink slip from the DMV on May 15. A smidge over 2 weeks.
