Who has their truck Paid off?

Paid if off 6 months after I bought it in 2010, it helped that I put 9k down and trade in was 6k

 

whoot.... i paid mine off last night

 

I have paid off several ... always early ... always forget about payments for a while ... always buy another ...

 

paid by check at the lot then took a loan out on it the next day so I could build up my credit. Have about a year left!

 

Wrote that last payment check for the payoff amount.
I hate truck payments.

 

Last payment for my ’09 was automatically withdrawn from my bank account last Friday the 14th. Same day, truck rolled over 75,000 miles on a quick trip to get ice cream. It got new personalized plates to celebrate the occasion. This afternoon we drove down into Arkansas to explore some back roads.

I paid cash for mine and all of the parts I put on it thanks in part to driving my 1989 and 1994 pretty much into the ground also paid in cash.

 

Update:
Paying the extra dollars quickly lowered the balance. Countdown now, owe $4600. Hope to pay off by December.

No issues whatsoever on the truck with 11,300 miles

 

Older than you but agree once kids college and mortgage paid off nice to be debt free and able to pay off when picking up.

 

Paid it off two years ago. Then I bought my wife a fusion

 

2014 TRD Sport. Paid cash , well technically a check but $ in the bank.
Paid cash for my 2006 Tacoma when new and the wifes 2012 Rav4 when new.

Business is good...

 

Financed $11K on mine but have the cash in the bank. I did it that way to have activity on my credit history. I'm getting .30% from savings and loan is at 2.25%. Losing only 2.05% and will pay it off in 12 months from purchase. Interest is about $115.00 for 12 months.

Mortgage was paid in 5 years and I carry no balance on my credit cards so I wanted some activity. Gotta keep the FICO up.

 

One more payment and I'm done!

 

Been done for a few months. Great feeling.

 

Time to start saving I paid it off!

ME!

Had a 04' Prerunner that was paid off which i should have kept and been thousands of dollars ahead. Had payments on a Subaru, and traded for a 05 Tacoma Prerunnner. Sold that to a dealer and paid off the loan i had on that. Bought a 2003 4Runner from my brother and now have no payments! It feels great not to have to spend $200-300 each month on payments.

Now I have my wifes car to pay off, but the interest is ridiculously low, so i'm not applying principle to that yet.

 

I know trying to fight the urge to save up for a supercharger

 

That's on my list too. Waiting for bonus time.
