02 Tundra, 05 Infinity G-35, 69 Toyota FJ40 all paid for the day I drove them home....then again I keep stuff for a long time. New TRD Pro in the works, will be mine when I leave the dealership.....though the G35 is going to may Ladies son....The FJ 40 is sort of like some of the Taco's in that it is never really paid for as I keep finding new stuff for it....

    Great news from this guy!!!
When i sold the Tacoma, i had enough equity to pay for the 4Runner outright and just yesterday, i paid off the wife's Subaru Forester. No more car payments!!! I'm excited for the extra money each month.

Yes. Yet I always find myself having a hard time gathering up $$$ for mods. I can't imagine having a $400-$600 monthly car payment on top of everything else. I'd likely be stock if that were the case.

Same here. Always paid cash until the last one was totaled. This time I decided I'd get something relatively new but didn't want to wipe out my savings to do it. It is nice to never have to work on it beyond routine stuff and whatever modifications I want to make.

It's my only debt. Credit cards get paid in full every month, sometimes twice a month if I charged a lot to keep the balance low. I know way too many people who have made that mistake for me to even think about carrying a balance. And, if something really bad happened I could sell the truck and be debt free plus some extra cash.

Zero reason to pay it off with rates now in the 1.4s for auto loans. Debt's not bad, debt being a confinement is bad.

Paid cash for my 2010 taco with 28,000km on it back in May of 2013. Toyota bought back my 1999 sr5 for a bad frame, and selling my 2006 diesel jeep liberty pretty much gave me enough cash, just had to come up with the taxes :)
