Oh man, I was saying this a couple years back and some people did not agree. I totally agree though. In stead of paying my truck off I played the stock market and ended up.making enough to pay off my 2013 outlander max as well. Now I have 2 toys!

Bought new in 2003. Bone stock. Paid off in 2007. No car payment for 8 years. Dam good trucks. Keep wondering what new years will bring us.

Hopefully refresh #1 will bring less gremlins and a 4 inches less of front grill.

I wish, but sadly no. This is my first decent/good valued vehicle. The one that was traded wasn't worth much at all so I'm still working on it. It is coming down pretty quickly though since I pay extra every month. Looking forward to the last payment eventually.

Paid mine off in little under 2 years, haven't had a car payment in 3 years. Unfortunately I'm getting the itch to buy another vehicle, thinking of the Focus RS when it comes out.

Dang - 4.5 years later & I'm still paying on my truck, lol. Haven't regretted the purchase one bit. Less than $2k left on it and just now 50k miles on the odo. I hope I can keep it on the road for another 10 years!

Congrats a great feeling. I see money in the bank now I don't have a monthly payment. Hardest part is fighting the urge to buy Accessories and stuff on CL.

Paid cash for mine in 06. Since then I have been paying myself payments. Will pay cash for the next vehicle. Only exception is if Toyota offers 0%.
Then I may elect to finance at 0% and make the payments from my savings.

What is this "Paid Off" mod? Is it cheap? Are there affordable shortcuts for the same results?
