Well the title says it all! I had a problem yesterday. I woke up very early to get sick, which was just a bit of stomach acid. I neglected to eat after that and ended up in town stuck driving and needing to blow chunks, I could not get over fast enough and threw the whole batch into the floor and seat of my Tacoma. Has anyone else had to clean vomit out of the interior? If so what was the secret to keeping the smell off of the fabrics? MAny thanks in advance, Lickily it is cold so the smell is being kept at bay.

I had a stomach flu and threw up all over my steering wheel, my lap, my front seat, and floor. I started feeling it coming up as I was driving through my subdivision..pulled a quick U and sped back to my house and right as I pulled in the driveway and was opening my door I blew chunks. Luckly I have husky liners and leather seats so cleanup was easy. That same day I also blew chunks in my front yard and in the Advance Auto parts parking lot. Stomach Flu's suck.

Arguably the worst thread I've ever ventured to. Like a car accident I had to look.

Damn me too I removed my pass. Seat and used my Hoover steam vac with the handheld attachment and spent hours extracting the carpet and seat. Used bissel soap, meguires odor killer, and blue corral foaming cleaner. It's all good now and even smells better than before. But in no way do I want to repeat it. Good luck

I know this may not be the best thread ever but if you had a bucket of vomit to get out of your seats a floor you may ask if someone knows a good chemical too. Have you smelled vomit before? Just curious, cause it really smells horrible. Non one who thinks my thread is dumb has to add anything or even acknowledge they read it, I just need help with this issue. And to another poster, stomach flus are not cool! :( Thanks to those who have given ideas I think I might try the kids and pets product.

I had a friend's sister who was extra sloppy that night throw up on the side of the Tacoma. Right on the outside handle. Then she had to get in the truck.

*made sure we had a barf plan before she got in though*

Wait till it has a chance to heat up in the summer sun! You might open your doors and do it again when you smell it :puke:

Steam clean or use a "Little Green Machine". If you don't have access to either, spray it real thick with foaming cleaner like Woolite and then use your shop vac. Then get some seat covers cause that's gonna stain!

Or how about driving 1,400 miles from GA to CO with the smell of puke lingering...yep done that. My girlfriend had a little too much to drink the night before we left for CO threw up all over the back seat of her xterra. Cleaned it up as best I could, including the steam cleaner...the smell still lingered for a while.
