I don't mind a tastefully blacked out truck, especially on the exterior. But I just never understood the "I hate chrome, I need to delete all of it" crowd. But, to each their own. Personally, if I blacked out my truck, the vent rings would not be something I cared about.

Honestly, I the only thing I don't like about the chrome bumper caps is that there's nothing on the front to balance out the look so it just looks out of place.

Hey i felt bad when someone scraped my real chrome bumper on my 2001 tundra when I was at the grocery mart one day. The chrome finish was scraped right down into the steel underneath, nothing could be done other than to have it replaced, or re-chromed. It's a hell of a lot easier, and cheaper to replace those plastic chrome bumper ends. Fact is, many have thought those bumper ends on my tacoma were real chrome till I showed them.

I didn't realize there was a required maturity level for jokes around here. Guess sense of humor shrivels in old age too. (also a joke, relax)

I can confirm this from doctors I've been to, that fast food as such is not good.

Still have all the original chrome from new 2016. Love it. Also, rarely see it from inside.

I like chrome. Take a Stone Gray F-150 XL with chrome bumpers. Throw on the grille from a King Ranch because it's chrome and stone gray. Lift it about 2" with some Fox 2.0s swap the air dam with a tremor skid plate. Get a set of Raptor take offs, preferably the machine finish. That would be a good looking truck.

Love it. Bronze is darker, with a pleasant semi-flat sheen.
Absolutely nothing like mirror reflective chrome in my book.

So some forms of bling are OK but not others?
Bling: (informal) Denoting expensive, ostentatious clothing or jewelry or hardware. ostentatious. flamboyant. extravagant. flashy.
    Everyone has their own bling.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
I could give a crap about what it looks like. 40 years of 4x4s hauling my ass all over BC to remote fishing lakes.

Never changed the appearance once on any of them. All got me far into the bush 500+ trips. The chrome or decals never restricted how they drove.

As long as they can get me in, and out like this, works for me. :)
