    1-3 feet....LOL....Try like 50-100.

This is my technique. When I am ACTUALLY flying (like HOCAC) I'm fine. Sitting the back gets boring and and does not satisify the inner control freak. Lube the event up with a few adult bevrages prior to boarding and daddy goes right to see.

Seven and seven, just one though. First time I flew I had been drinking Jack all night. Killed a handle with my two buddies I went with. Had to carry one through security. Hit cruising alt and the booze started seeping out the pores on my forehead. Burned. Not a great experience. 5 hour flight.

I absolutely despise flying. I hate airport BS, I hate being cramped in a small seat with bunch of other people so close. I hate being up in the air and when the turbulence hits, I get sweaty and pale...LOL

That said I have no problem going stupid fast in a car  Yes I don't do it anymore, but with my turbo Sentra I would sometimes go 140+mph

The best flight I ever had was in 1st class. Right after the take off I told the stewardess to get me straight Vodka and keep them coming. After a few I could care less where I am. Won't work for anyone though, I can handle my alcohol fairly well and I don't get violent...

If you don't trust in pilots, you can do it yourself for a few $$$. Check it out.

I my flights are over 15hrs long, i am 100% pro valium on your flight, i normally take mine when i get on the plane, make it halfway through a movie and just space out/ sleep for 9 hours or so. your flight is 4 hours? hmmm i dont know if that would be a good combo unless you took it an hour before the flight. I recommend music, loud music, the less you hear the less you will think about. Do you know what size aircraft it is? if its bigger than an A320 it should be a fairly smooth flight. Last year i flew 95k miles so i have quite abit of experience for someone my age, if you have any questions feel free to PM me.

I've never taken valium much less any other drug I think I took some luratabs once for pain thats about it.

Long story short my father was always in the hospital on 20+ pills a day and I always swore I would never take them unless i have to.

    You flew 95k miles!!!! Jesh!!!!

What does valium do just releases chemicals in your brain that relaxes you or?

I'm not sure how big the aircraft is thanks on the loud music didn't think about that lol

I can completely understand not wanting to take pills. Personally for me, i have it mapped out to when i take the pill and when i fall asleep, it pretty much gets my time difference back in order so when i land (mid-day) i feel refreshed and by 9pm im ready to go to sleep again.

The valium is just a muscle relaxer (some may dissagree) but with a glass of whine or scotch it just makes me not think about whats around me just what im focusing on, normally the tv screen. Im also pretty personable so i like to converse with the person next to me. Talkin might keep your mind off of stuff.

yea i work in the middle east and fly alot! Helicopters too :D

The question should be restated: "Who does not hate flying?"

There is nothing fun about being treated like cattle. The airlines are constantly and systematically trying to cheapen the whole experience to pad their bottom line.

In short, flying sucks; unless you have money to burn and can afford first class.
