what is involved in wiring it up?

did you have to run your own wires or replace the dash wiring harness?

if you changed the dash harness how involved was it and how long did it take you? any problems?

    thanks
yes I saw those and they have videos on installing them on youtube but im looking to go all oem, which is why the thread is titled the way it is.

I think I will have to get aftermarket oem replacements for the mirrors and window regulators and motors since these are going for $125 each at salvage yards and instead of spending $500 for those I can get all 4 for $150 in aftermarket replacements which, while not my first choice, are where my budget puts me.

I already found both door panels with switches and door wiring harness for $300, they should be shipping today.

my biggest question is will I need a new dash wiring harness to plug into or is it just a matter of running a few wires as I hope? if I need to replace the harness then im hoping someone can share a part number they used so I can look for one like that

the problem with those aftermarket jobs is the run off a cable and weak motor so if the window does move up and down very easy it trips the load sensor and stops before its fully up or doesn't roll down at all. I heard they are fine to use as long as you spray silicone lube in the window tracks every couple of weeks to keep it moving easy so it doesn't bind at all. it all comes down to the load sensor has to trip when it thinks its all the way up or down so it doesn't wear on them or put excessive stress on the gears
