I'm thinking a LEER shell, when it comes time.

Wouldn't have the truck without one, as my dogs love to go along, and I want them to be safe.

I had a blue aluminium leer shell on my gray 94 SR5. I bought it and sold it on Craigslist for a net price of $0. It was ugly as hell but I only needed it to move. Should of kept it, because a couple months after I took it off some a-hole broke out the rear window of my truck, only to break in and find nothing to take.

This is the only pic I could find. This was after it got backed into and I was filing an insurance claim, which is why you can't see the whole topper.

I have a ARE tall boy on a Tacoma Access and I don't find it causes any blindspot, it does cause some caution concern. If your mirrors are adjusted exactly right you wll be able to see both sides well. It is the same as any big rig for driving, learning to use mirrors and double take that right side, they market all kinds of special mirror systems for just that purpose. The trick is to have the wide view on the bottom inside, which is the opposite to some common ideas of blind spots, but try it and you will see that if the normal view is clear all the way across the top view and the extreme wide view is on the bottom you always have a clear shot behind. No one can sneak up on either side if you do it this way. On European commericial trucks its that way by law and its proved the best for safty.
