I still really like my 2011 truck @ 2+ years later, and try to keep it as good looking as possible using spray wax and headlight conditioner after each washing. The smoked headlamps and single bar grille (which is polished black) really help it stand out.

I'm not going to lie, my truck is basically a street queen which I got for weekend projects and for inclement weather capabilities. When mine is pristinely clean on a sunny day in the summer, nothing feels better than when that trendy BMW owner (more like leaser) on the road is gawking over how good your truck looks, which I've noticed numerous times.

My truck got an another compliment yesterday. I was on my way out from Whitter Honda, and a sales guy flags me down, asking questions about the mods/lift/etc. This is certainly not helping my addiction to my truck...

Had mine for 9 months now. Still do it all the time. And the thrill I felt from first getting in it hasn't vanished. :D

My wife is jealous I look back at the truck and not at her. I said its bad when she has a rack and my tacoma doesn't, yet I still admire the truck. I also purposely park out far as possible so I can look at her the whole way back

Yet if your truck wasn't so nice she would be complaining about that too...

Plus her rack will get beat over time whereas you can always trade in the truck on a new one

After ditching the stock look, I definitely spend time admiring my truck. I really enjoy it when my wife steals my wheels cause then I get to see both of them pulling into the driveway at the same time...aaahhhh what a hot sight.:headbang:

Haha! Awesome thread. I've been doing this ever since I bought my truck in 2011. It's so bad that I even take multiple looks at it when I park it in the office parking lot.
