If I won I would buy LA and burn it to the ground, or buy a controlling stake of the Dodgers and disband the team.

I'd buy the original Batman car, I'd buy the Elephant Man's skeleton, Darth Vader's outfit, the ruby shoes from Wizard of Oz, real suits of armor, a small latin american country (or two), a politician (just so I could shoot him), a stake in the SF Giants to I could always have a box and parking.......

I usually buy a couple of quick picks at the beginning of the week. Between me and my family we have 30 quick pick tickets on the fridge. For everyone that plays keep your losing ticket because depending on your state they can be considered tax deductible up to what you have won, I have a jar full of lotto tickets that I've played and lost on. As for what I would buy I'd let my parents buy whatever they wanted and pay off debts, I'd get a house with a lot of acreage think 5,000+ acres and a huge kitchen, a 458 Italia, a motorcycle, and drop the rest in a bank account and live happy for the rest of my life I would still pursue a BSN degree and work as a nurse. If someone won the jack pot they will have 190 million deducted as tax but still ~400mil is a nice chunk of change which sets the next 7-8 generations of your family up for life provided they don't blow through it.
Edit: These numbers of tax deductions are for SC's tax rate and it'll vary on a state by state basis, if you want to win anywhere it would be Florida no tax ftw.
