Odd question I know, but does anyone have any experience with the old school black vinyl front-end bras?

Looks like LeBra makes one for 3rd Gen Tacomas.

I live in FL and just bought some property up in the north Georgia mountains. So I will be doing this trip quite a bit from now on. I just took my new truck up there and got a very tiny rock ding on my front bumper. So I had the idea to buy one of these bras that I would just throw on for the long road trips.

I know about the paint protection film, but it is very expensive and I have read some conflicting feedback about detailing around the edge of where the film is applied and that the filmed area itself is not really friendly to detailing.

So I was considering throwing on an old school bra to keep the front end in good shape. They are ugly as sin, I know, but this would be just a temporary option for just the drive. Thoughts?

Or thoughts about bras in general : )

Fabric covers destroy paint costing more to repair than quality PPF.

I had one on my Accord in HS. There was a real brief period they were kinda "in" at least in the Honda world. I ended up with a sunburn line after only a summer and a half of use.

Just remember the Bundy Credo...Hooters hooters, yum yum yum..hooters hooters, on a girl that's dumb.

Oh you mean for the vehicle..

Had one on my Camaro probably around the same time (mid 1990s). Had a similar issue plus paint chafing when it came loose.

I was driving when they were a fad. I had one. I had one. I also had scratched paint from one. They will do more damage than that little stone will.

Where is your property in north Georgia OP? I own a cabin on Cherry Log Mountain just south of Blue Ridge. Sipping coffee in it as I type. The fall colors are amazing.

PS: skip the "man-zier" brother, they were a flash in the pan for a reason.
