I agree with some others about the sport wheels . They are definitely funky and ugly in my opinion. They're easy to find used as well.

I like the idea of doing that for Winter, should protect the wheels from nasty salt and brine.

    Like, so many.
I dislike the ones on my Sport. I dipped them and helped some, but that will be my next purchase.

I honestly would have done the paint but
    A) wasn't sure I would like it and wanted to be able to peel it off if not, and
    B) did not at all trust my skills with a spray until I tried it with the plasti and could peel it off if I FUBARed it.
I really do like them and if they get too mangled I'll peel them and paint them with the Rust-oleum.
They've already survived one car-wash completely undamaged so far, though, so I have high hopes.

I like them! But as in all things everyone has their own opinion. Anybody out there that doesn't like theirs send them my way!

I like them better than spoke wheels that spin. Seriously though...my nephew just plasti-dipped his girlfriends BMW wheels. WTF? It turned out okay...I guess. Who doesn't like stock BMW wheels?

Depends on which BMW wheels. I've seen many terrible ones. Quite a few beautiful ones as well.

I like them, but wish they had a little less offset, (more like the pro wheels) for a little better stance

Same here. I was really close to buying new wheels a couple of weeks ago.
Decided the OR wheels are "acceptable" (for me), and I'd go ahead an put that money toward other stuff.
I know I'll end up changing them later though.

When I got my sport, I said it is not leaving the lot with sport rims. They swapped with an OR access that was on the lot. What I really regret was the owner's son had a 16 with TRD bronze beadlocks. They were selling his demo and they offered me to swap for the beadlocks. At the time I did not know the outer ring was removable and also did not know they were highly sought after wheels. I personally did not like the looks of them either. They do look better without the ring and I could have easily powder coated another color. I really like the trail wheels in black and the SR5 upgrades are pretty cool too, however at the time I like the OR wheels and still do.
