Hahahaha.... One of my co-workers use to have a set of those truck balls on his dodge dakota. So one day at work i went out with the label maker, and in very small lettering wrote. "Cowboy butts drive me nuts!". It took him about a week and a half to realize why people kept honking at him when he was stopped at lights.

My other co-workers and i kept on with the pranks and ridicule until he took them off.

Weathertechs, personally fabricated tailgate lock, tint, extra D rings, Exactfit seatcovers, re-enforcing the tailgate and adding a leaf next week.
Truck Nutz. :smack:In my neck of the woods, you usually only see them on Rams, and mostly the diesels with smoke stacks. You know, they go so great with the "I'd rather be Cummin than Strokin'" stickers in the back glass.

Usually wetsuits come with a mini pocket inside. I had a regular key made just for that reason.

We leave the shin buster in all the time on my mom's Expedition; it has a lock on it, and last time I tried, the key wouldn't work, haha! I haven't towed anything with the Tacoma, yet, but when I need one, I'll probably do the same.

Nothing in the California Vehicle Code says anything about a trailer hitch being illegal if left on. The only thing illegal about it is if the ball (mounted to bumper) blocks your license plate in any way.

I'm surprised you are allowed to trailer anything in California. Thought maybe your government would want to take care of that for you too.

I leave mine on for two reasons.

    1. It's a little lower step for me to get up in the bed,,, (Getting old :D )

    2. It's a little more protection and revenge if someone rear ends me...
