    Here is the story.
Have bought my Taco Off Road 2017 on the last Sunday of October. A week later I have had the original rims replaced with different rims from Discount Tires but kept the tires. The wheels were done in the night time and went home. The next day I looked at the new rims/wheels how they look and to my surprise the RR wheel is sticking out about 1/2 inch more compared to the RL wheel. Have took a 3ft ruler and put it against the tire to check it out and yes, the RR is more to the right compared to the RL.
Jumped in the truck, went to the D.T. place, dragged the sales guy out and showed him the difference in tire position compared to the rear fenders. He confirmed the issue and took the truck on the lift and swapped the rear tires. Same problem, this proves the rims are even and do not have a defect. From there I went to the Toyota dealer to find out why my truck is like this? My dealer (very nice and helpful guy) was busy but allowed me to check out the other Tacoma trucks in the lot. Grabbed another guy from the dealership and we checked all brand new 22 Tacomas at the dealership from the PRO to the base one and all have the same issue with the rear axle being skewed to the right. By that time my dealer guy showed up and we checked again. At this time we are 5 guys looking and talking about the problem when from the back a guy with his wife stopped, listened and made the comment that his 2016 Sport had the same problem but after the replaced the rear leaf springs (doing a lift) the problem got fixed, the wheels are even now compared to the fenders. A friend of mine that is an auto mechanic mentioned that from time to time he have seen this problem with guys doing DIY lifts and leaf spring swaps when the leafs are installed wrong.
I would like to know if anybody has the same problem with the Taco (without any modifications or upgrades) and also if the problem is still present after the rear leaf springs have been replaced. Looks like there is a problem with the OEM Taco leaf springs not being equal in thickness or installed wrong (see A). Best way to find out is to take a ruler and put it against the tire and see where it lands on the fender.
    Let us know please.

Bed/frame shifted after 1 week of driving like an old lady? If my U bolts are the problem, what about all the other Tacos at the dealer with the same problem?
Can you check your Taco 16-17 and see if you have the same problem?
P.S. I get the finger from the Rascals passing me...

If you want new leafs go all pro, either the expos if you have a cap and want some extra beef or the std's if you don't. Should give you about 3 inches of lift.

Or, was not installed perfectly. You won't know unless you measure to the frame.

    U-bolts? That's just my sig...

If I'm going to check for misalignment of the rearend, I'm going to jack it up and and bust out the laser line.

Can you guys please check your Tacos and see if the problem is wide spread? Would like to know why and find a solution. Other than that, the truck runs perfect, no tranny problems and very solid. Is just a visual pain.

If your rear end shifted, your u-joint operating angles would be screwed and you'd have vibes.

I have a 16' DCORLB and mine had the same issue. I recently installed Dakars and an Icon stage 7 and the problem seemed to go away. Well, either t went away or the lift made up the difference on the lower side. This seems to be a normal thing. Btw I love the ARB Dakar springs. They will add about 2.75" of lift. Here is a picture of the Dakar springs sitting wth shocks at stock height in back wth 265/70/17 tires.

My bed was not aligned correctly. After fighting with the dealer for two days I dragged the service manager to the lot to show him 4 tacos with the same problem. He opened a corporate case and gave me a rental while the fixed it. Bed misalignment is a manufacturing issue and should be dealt with under warranty.

LOL.... this is known on solid axle
Pickup trucks. My S10 was also like this. It's possible to center, but it takes time to realign all the suspension settings. Mine is as skewed as yours, even after shifting the bed... now the bed to cab is off.... it's a truck, and it doesn't matter what you paid for it. In the end, it's still a ladder frame, leaf spring truck.
I just left it as is. I've got AAL and shifted everything as much as I could, but same result.
Not going to win this with any truck manufacturer, unless you buy a Honda Ridgeline. No issues with axle shift and crooked beds.

I just went over to the neighbor and his frontier is the same way. Looking at pictures of my '09, I now see that it was also misaligned. My 16 taco seems to be pretty close, can't visually tell if it's misaligned anyway.

Edit: Although, my neighbor has had a bunch of other problems that might have contributed to his being that way.

My bed is misaligned as well, I thought it was my axle at first after putting my lift/level kit on with 1" blocks. I looked at the cab to bed and it is off. the dealer tried to tell me it was the cab that was misaligned, I havent had a chance to take it in for them to fix it, not too concerned about it and I'll probably fix it myself anyway. 6 bed bolts to loosen, adjust the bed and tighten them up. My rear bumper is higher on one side too so I'll address that as well.

Today checked my neighbor's Chevy Super Duty V8 and has the same problem!!!. Can they (all) build a straight truck???
This is a Martian conspiracy to screw up with earthling's trucks and give them headaches.

I have the same problem also . The dealer also told me the other new ones on the lot were the same or worse. They did nothing . I just went to an alignment shop and had it checked out . Outside of the truck being towed in a lot and the camber off , they told me the rear wheels lined up correctly with the front wheels . Here is another problem , I put sumo springs in the rear to replace the bumper stops. The drivers side lines up with the frame correctly , the passenger side lines up offset to the frame , to the outside just like the tire . They could not figure it out since there are no adjustments for the rear axle. I think the spring mounting plate on the axles is welded in the wrong location or the axle is too long on one side .
PS My box looks to be aligned with the cab , I think adjusting it would mask problem and make the wheels look better , but it will not change the sumo spring location .
Putting the sumo springs on is what brought this whole problem to my attention in the first place.
