Hey if that's the case, then that is awesome, and good on him. I still don't like the truck, but if it's used for charity, then right on.

    Same crap everyone else got
I've seen that truck parked outside of Car Tunes of Atlanta in Sandy Springs GA. It's huge.

I don't think it looks bad. Over the top, yes. Too much money spent, yes. But I don't think it warrants the bashing it's getting here. Look how many people on this site post pics of their truck with spacer lifts, bull bars, and larger street tires on ugly wheels. No one bashes their ride when they post up. This guy knew what he wanted, and had the balls/check book to start cutting out stuff on a brand new truck. No matter what you do to your truck, there's gonna be someone that doesn't like it, just appreciate the work that went into this thing. Some who can't and just want to bash it will never understand b/c they've never actually put in work to modify a vehicle. Armchair quarterbacking....

I don't mean to bash the owner, and if he is helping children good on him. But my first thought was "small weenie syndrome."

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
This!! It also most likely wouldn’t be a Toyota. Because you would be hearing Jap crap, or some other BS.

Wow, just wow. I understand this is a show truck, but on a serious note, I see actual daily driver trucks like this all over where I live. Obviously on a much, much smaller scale, but the idea is the same. Put dumbass wheels/tires on it that actually decrease performance, and jack the shit up as high as possible. No extra ground clearance. Their only purpose is just for looks. They obviously think it looks cool, but I hate hate hate that whole look.

Luckily I don't think I've ever seen a Tacoma modded out like that here before, but I live in the Midwest with a bunch of rednecks and the Tacoma isn't very popular here anyway. It's usually American trucks driving all over the place. And Jeeps. Oh man, Jeeps are everywhere.

Also, might as well rant about Jeeps while I am already ranting. I love Jeeps. I would probably own one if the Tacoma wasn't so much more practical. However, we just had one of the worst winters in history with Spring arriving late, but it is finally here. And the weather is absolutely AMAZING! It is like a freaking dream. The weather is rarely nice here in the midwest (usually too hot or too cold), but lately it has been insanely nice. And what do I see? Jeeps everywhere driving with the top on. Doors on. Not even the front top are down. The windows are usually rolled up too. What in the SHIT!!! Is there something I am missing? I've never owned a Jeep so maybe I underestimate how much of a hassle it is to go through the detach/attach process, but it seems pretty easy to at least do the 2 little front pieces. It just kills me inside to see all these fancy Jeeps rolling around in practically the best weather we can get without the tops/doors off. Also, my neighbor has a Jeep and I have never, ever seen it with the top/doors off. It seriously just kills me. Arg!

    Like, so many.
What’s the application of that truck? Just for show? I mean it has to be. I support the creativity. I’m sure he loves it. Who’s the guy on here with all the reflectors and reflective tape and what not?

Correct. That truck is far from redneck. Think beat up 2-door Chevy Silverado with a 2 tone paint job. Rednecks don't custom mod their trucks. They drive them mostly stock for 22 years

Only practical reason is if someone owned a company; a body shop or aftermarket accessories shop for some promotional reason. Other than that I don’t get it either

    Too few to list.
This. I see many trucks lifted and done up for attention and use and not for function.
