Who participated in Bike to Work Day on Friday 5/21?

4.1 miles both ways and loved it. Felt energized and awake when I got to work. Decided I want to start doing the ride more regularly. Instead of 8 minutes in my truck, I rode the bike for 24 minutes.

Was just curious anyone else who gave it a try.

 

I walked to work...but I'm at a training base right now- So I walk every where.

I'm getting a bike when I get home to ride to work every day- It's about 2 miles even to get to my office from my house.

 

Rode my motorcycle to work!?

 

In 2009 I cycled to work for four months straight. It's 5 miles one way for me. I don't do it anymore though. It's too scary. Just three days ago a cyclist was run over on my old commuting route. He lived with very serious injuries.

 

I didnt even know it was "bike to work day."

 

I did not know about the day. I only work about a mile from home, so I could have. I wouldn't have though. I did notice last night while I was standing in the garage thinking about cleaning it. My 2 bikes, have all tires flat. That shows you how much I ride.

 

As long as motorycyles count, I did!

 

Didnt do it on the 21st but I usually do it once every 2 weeks, its only about 3 miles, but half of it is a road with no shoulder what so ever.
