Who Renewed the SIRIUS Radio Subscription After the Trial?

The quality of the audio while using the satellite is not great. I usually only will listen using an app. The audio through the app sounds great.

 

They don't tell you about the fees with the $89.00 option:

I have 3 days left on my trial....not renewing

 

The reception in my tacoma is garbage, have Sirius in my jetta and it never cuts out.

My tacoma it cuts out if I park under a tree

 

Every Toyota I've ever had with Sirius is terrible. It's cuts out every 10 seconds if you're in hilly terrain, or even kinda close to trees.

 

Have great reception in mine. Renewed for the 5 buck a month. The end of next month, I'll have to call in and attempt to get the same deal. Have it in my Avalon also and the two Toys before it. Reception has always been great.

 

Must have something to do with where I live. It's always been unusable. First in my '07 FJ, then the '09 Taco, and the '13, and now the '16.

 

Satelite cuts out! Why would I pay for music that can't even play when I'm offroad? Bluetooth all the way! (Or aux/usb) Its a higher fidelity audio experience anyway.

I live in the sticks, mine cuts out a lot too.

 

I remember being in downtown Buffalo a few years ago and the satellite radio was totally unusable because of the buildings.

 

I didn't. I did not like any of the content. I think I listened to it total of 3 times while I had a free trial. Now I have to deal with onslaught of Sirius junk mail in my mailbox.

i had such issues with sirius. i did renew my subscription immediately after the trial ended. i had issues connecting so i called cust service and they took 5 min to give me the greatest promotional sales they had running. all fine and dandy except i just wanted music to work. and i was minutes from just signing up, unlikely to buy more at that point. i then got flooded with spam emails, 3+ promos per week in my real mailbox, and then the phone calls came. first i got 2 calls in one week. then i got 1 ring'd 2 times in a day. the number you call back goes to sirius. i went off the deep end. not a proud moment, but while trying to explain i was dropping service due to overbearing sales pressures, the cs rep tried to sell me more because i was a "highly valued customer" and more bs. that was nearly a 30 minute phone call and it was about 28 minutes of sales pitch and 2 minutes of disconnect and do not call stuff.

this was all in the first month i paid for sirius(wasnt going to be buying more for 11+months) i refuse to ever deal with the company again despite liking the service they offer. radio service, not customer service.

 

I renewed for 26.00 or something for 6 months. I drive a lot through the desert with no radio options and no data available so it works for me. The Sat radio only cuts out when I'm on the north side of a very very high wall.

 

I've noticed the same thing with my radio, all over Alberta its brutal! Ever since they merged the reception has gotten worse! Side by side a Sirius radio and an XM radio, the Sirius would work all day, the XM could barly get through a song without cutting out.

 

I renewed mine because it was just so cheap ($5 Canadian/mo). I use it once in while. I love the comedy in traffic. Howard has good guests again too.

 

I have three vehicles and have XM radio in all three. If I have the money when time to renew, I will. If I don't, I won't. I'm retired and enjoy XM music. Much better then local FM reception.

 

I re-newed but made sure to give a Credit Card that expires before the subscription runs out.

The options for music are much better than local radio. I let the subscription run out once to see if I would miss it and my kids were the ones that noticed it the most.

They started asking me why I was playing all garbage music. So its worth the extra $$ per month for me.
