I’m planning on switching my trans fluid from the conventional Valvoline dex III to their full synthetic max life at dex III. And while I’m add it changing over my power steering fluid to the max life atf dex III. Anyone else running this stuff from what I’ve heard it’s pretty good. Just wanted some opinions before I adventure out into the apocalypse that we live in. Thanks

I swapped mine over to this and have been very pleased with the result. Shifts like butter and runs a touch cooler. Given, I am yanking my auto in favor of a 5-speed but this fluid is good stuff. I bought 3 jugs and flushed the trans with it until the fluid came out clear. There are some good vids on youtube for doing that if you're interested.

This is what I currently use, previously I use the Toyota factory WS ATF and see no difference between the two except one is a lot cheaper.

It is a highly rated well reviewed ATF and in Toyota auto transmissions is no exception. :D

Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
I run it and it is so far so good. $17.95 a gallon is hard to beat. I have read that Valvoline stands up to heat better than Toyota WS. These fluids are made by oil companies and not auto manufacturers anyhow, so it shouldn't matter if it doesn't say Toyota on the container as long as its compatible.

+1 I learned about it on here. The Tacoma likes it as well as the LX470.

Same here used this after releasing. It doesn't use power steering fluid after a week I was oh shit...... Replace with Valvoline transmission fluid, hopefully, I got all of it out.
