This may be a fair warning to get that 5 dollar anti-tail gate theft mod going if you haven't already.

The car wash ripped mine off. Luckily I bought one that looked just like it at Autozone. I was so pissed.

The next day I had it replaced-almost $50 at the dealer!. So I put it back on, and the next day I go out there and there is a cheese puff shish-kebobed on it. The same punk 14yo I suspected putting those dents and egging in my previous Tacoma. I was so FKG pissed! I got the message through. Everythings cool now.

I picked up a short one from Autozone as well. Liked the shorter look, but it made a whistling sound around 60+ mph. Drove me crazy. Took it back the next day.

Why go somewhere like the dealership or a auto parts store? If I had mine stolen I would just hit up a junk yard. I bet they would only charge about 4 or 5 bucks for one.

If you stop by the dealer after hours you can find one much cheaper.:spy:

Just kidding! My first CravenSpeed shorty antenna got stolen in the middle of the day at Petsmart. I got an new one and used Locktite this time...let's see those bastards steal this one.

I will say though if you use the radio this is not the best antenna. I get very little, if any, reception.
