It's not the mileage itself. It's the mileage and age factored together. 45k miles on a 2 year old vehicle is high.

haha really? I did not have the same experience, I thought it was very easy. It's probably hard to do very cleanly, but that's what the inner splash guards are for.

Heck I put 35k a year on my vehicle commuting and running around. I like to trade every 2 years but sometimes I trade a little early.

    ORIGINAL OWNER HERE.
Pic below for proof. Here's the story..... Growing family & towing needs changed, needed a bigger truck. Nothing in the full size market really excited me but I liked the idea of twin turbos and Ford wins every category. I traded my truck only because they were GIVING AWAY F150's that day to make room for the 2018's. Timing was right. I know better than to trade a vehicle (and I have been through alot of them), but in this case, the discount on the 2017 made up for the hit in the head on the trade in. I have been in this game long enough to know how to make a deal.

If anyone knows who bought this truck, tell them to send me a private message.

The running boards and Solid fold 2.0 are still for sale, local in Hampton Roads, Va. Also have sumo springs and all the stock suspension components.

Im just going to say that the tranny went out in my F150. I loved that truck, it hurt to let her go. I then upgraded to a Tacoma. No regrets.

I'm a Toyota fan... Not getting into F150 vs Tacoma debate. Not here to start hating on Tacoma just because I decided to go another route. I do hope the new 10 speed 10R80 transmission is tough though. It's good enough for the ZL1 camaro so it should be fine in a truck.

Quick disconnect? To be honest I haven't looked into it for the 3rd gen, but it's what I plan on doing once I upgrade the suspension.

Many have tried, most have failed. There's a guy in the 4Runner forums (and to an extent here) who makes quick disconnects but they work by removing the entire sway bar. They use pins to remove rather than the bolts that are on there now.

As far as I know, there's no solution that allows them to be disconnected and still attached to the truck.

people are so funny how brands are bad and good depending. I think in general they are all pretty close and some bad in every brand but most are good and each have their issues and pros and cons. Enjoy the 150 it is definitely a nice truck and if I had a family id go full size for sure.

Yea, I would still be in a 370Z as a DD and my 2005 Nismo Frontier for utility. Miss them both, but love the family more.

here's the funny thing... Started to feel bad about the new F150 so I have been letting my wife drive it to work. I drive longer distances so I am now driving her Subaru Outback. If it stays this way, the Outback will soon be gone to make room for a WRX..... Life revolves around cars and trucks....

For what it's worth... Toyota Entune wins all day long over Ford Sync 3......
